Acoustical detection of gunshots in the open
Hrabina, Martin ; Tučková, Jana (referee) ; Sigmund, Milan (advisor)
This work is concerned with gunshot detection and recognition. Contains overview of published works and methods used in this field. Furthermore, it lists several commercial gunshot detectors. Binary gunshot detection and recognition algorithm is proposed which discriminates between gunshot and non-gunshot sounds occuring in nature. Algorithm is tested in Matlab. Proposed algorithm is implemented in TMS320C6713 digital signal processor, achieved results are compared.
Determination of mechanical properties of low carbon and low alloy steels via small punch tests at room and low temperatures
Závodský, Peter ; Pantělejev, Libor (referee) ; Válka, Libor (advisor)
The presented diploma thesis deals with an innovative material test, so called Small Punch Test. There are main principles, advantages and limitations of the test stated in the thesis. There are stated also correlation procedures in order to obtain standard mechanical properties. A test fixture design has been done in order to perform test procedures at temperature range from 80 to 25 °C. Twelve experimental curves have been obtained from the test and typical quantities have been evaluated. The different accuracy of correlations with standard mechanical properties has been obtained using different correlation equations.
Mathematical Methods in Economics
Molnárová, Dominika ; Doubravský, Karel (referee) ; Novotná, Veronika (advisor)
This Bachelor Thesis concentrates on evaluation and comparison of the situation on individual labour markets in European union using mathematical and statistical models. The thesis primarily focuses on the analysis and development of significant economical indexes, such as unemployment rate, GDP and average income. The thesis also targets on providing the relationship between the selected indexes with correlation analysis and finally sorts the mentioned EU countries into similarity ground using the cluster analysis.
The influence of deep brain stimulation on the brain connectivity
Avšak mechanizmy, ktorými znižuje počet záchvatov a zlepšuje pohyb, zostávajú ešte do značnej miery neznáme. Pre lepšie pochopenie a určenie, v ktorých frekvenčných pásmach je zmena najdôležitejšia, boli urobené porovnania medzi vypnutou a zapnutou DBS pomocou korelačnej metódy a indexu fázového posunu. Jedenásť pacientov s PD a naimplantovanými neurostimulátormi z firiem Medtronic a St.Jude Medical bolo predmetom nahraných dát použitých v tejto práci.
Correlation coefficients and their field of application
Rudžík, Matej ; Popela, Pavel (referee) ; Žák, Libor (advisor)
This bachelor’s thesis deals with different types of correlation coefficients and their properties depending on the data layout. The theoretical part of this work contains definitions of various types of correlation coefficients and tests related with this issue. The practical part compares the behaviour of parametric and nonparametric correlation coefficients in different situations. This comparison is realised in program MATLAB.
Acoustic Drone Detection Using Microphone Array
Múčka, Milan ; Beran, Vítězslav (referee) ; Szőke, Igor (advisor)
This work deals with methods of acoustic localization for electrical multicopters using a microphone field composed of several microphones at a certain distance. The main methods of localization and detection using sound waves are explained in the paper. Next, the algorithms that implement these methods are designed. The results summarize the results of these algorithms together with experiments to verify their functionality.

Automobilový priemysel na Slovensku ako hlavný ťahač slovenskej ekonomiky a jej vývoja
Zvarková, Zuzana ; Frömmel, Tomáš (advisor) ; Špecián, Petr (referee)
The aim of this work is to prove the mutual relationship and dependence between the Automotive industry and the Slovak economy. First half of practical part calculates cor- relation coefficients between five potential bonds of individual performance indicators (e.g. Revenues of car manufacturers and Slovak nominal GDP). Strong correlation coefficients between these bonds prove that there is a significant mutual relationship and strong dependence. Second half of practical part presents very comprehensive SWOT analysis of the automotive industry in Slovakia. The aim of the analysis is to emphasize the strong two-way relationship. Additionally, to propose, how could the automotive industry accelerate the Slovak economy if influenced properly and how it could overcome upcoming threats that could have a negative impact on the economy of the country.
